Project Bloom was sowed by Blooming with Birdie, an education company that enhances learning by creating immersive, engaging learning experiences to classrooms and the community. Inspired by Maria Montessori and Mr. Rogers, Blooming with Birdie believes that transformation happens when we learn in ways that fully immerse us in the content and connect us with the world around us.
As the nonprofit branch of Blooming with Birdie, Project Bloom makes enriched educational experiences free for the community, classrooms, teachers, and students who need it the most.

Monarch Butterfly & Pollinator Festival
The mission of the Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator Festival is to celebrate the pollinators that sustain the ecosystems that sustain both them and us.
On festival day, over 30 educational partners convene to provide hands-on, nature-based experiences for children and adults to over 3,500 attendees.

Caterpillar Condos
In this month-long experience, children develop a special connection to nature as they observe the metamorphosis of a live Monarch Butterfly.
Teachers are provided with a half day of training and all curriculum materials like a milkweed plant with caterpillars, digital Monarch Journal, and a citizen science project where children tag and release their monarch.

Immersive Experiences
Blooming with Birdie designs immersive experiences for the public to play + learn while engaging with the world aroudn them.
These pop-up experiences, like the Bee Social, create opportunities for all to spark curiosity, compassion, and action around topics that make us better global citizens.

Community Events
Blooming with Birdie partners with other local organizations, festivals, and community events to provide high quality educational experiences to supplement existing programming.
Community events range from Dia de Arbol Festival to the Earth Day Festival.

Project Bloom was created to provide high quality educational programs at no cost to classrooms and communities that lack access to rich educational experiences.
